Our Story
Teahouse by MOTE began with a simple belief: The best moments at any gathering happen over a warm cup. We started with loose leaf tea, because whole leaves give a richer, and more honest flavour. Yet, we know that not every guest reaches for tea. Hence, we added coffee, brewed with the same care, into our brew experiences. So, whether it’s a delicate oolong or bold espresso, there’s always a cup for everyone.
Our Philosophy: 一期一会，一茶一坐。
一期一会 (ichigo ichie) means “one time, one meeting”, while 一茶一坐 (one tea, one sitting) reminds us to slow down and be present over a cup. At Teahouse by MOTE, we believe that each encounter is unique, so we pour each cup with care, so that a shared brew can build bonds that linger long after the last sip.

We function as an event booth vendor — bringing the teahouse directly to your event in the form of a mobile set up. Each experience can be tailored to your theme, guest count, and venue. Our brew experience offerings include:
Our Signature Mobile Coffee Cart: A beautifully sleek monochrome styled cart serving freshly brewed coffee, made to order for your guests.
Our Signature Tea Apothecary Blending Bar: Where guests craft their own tea blends from curated loose leaf teas and whole botanicals, taken home in a keepsake jar.
Our Signature Tea Appreciation Bar: A live, interactive tea appreciation session held by our trained hosts, where guests sip and savour teas brewed and steeped fresh.

This lets us keep the quality, freshness, and character of each tea base and whole botanicals we use.

Each cup is brewed fresh on-site, so your guests can enjoy the full aroma and richness of the beverage over conversations.
